Wheat Stitch™ Crochet Water Bottle Holder Pattern
The Wheat Stitch Water Bottle Holder is a hands-free carry solution that’s both practical and genuinely pretty. It works up in two sizes to fit a standard plastic water bottle or a large bottle, and the signature Wheat Stitch gives it that irresistible raised, woven texture that looks way more complicated than it actually is.
The holder is built from the base up, starting in the round to create a flat, sturdy foundation that supports your bottle’s weight. Once the base is set, the body is worked in joined and turned rounds using the Wheat Stitch pattern — a satisfying combination of puff stitches and back loop single crochets that creates the most tactile, beautiful fabric. The strap is worked flat and sewn on separately, giving you a customizable carry length (short- or long-strap options included).
