Chevron Petal Loop Stitch Crochet Washcloth Pattern

€11.61 €5.80

The Chevron Petal Loop Washcloth is the kind of small make that’s secretly a palette playground. The textured Petal Loop Stitch works up into crisp chevron waves, and because it’s so quick, it’s the perfect place to test a color combo before you commit to a blanket. Worked in Herrschners Cottage Cotton, it lands right in that cozy holiday color story.

This washcloth is worked flat in rows using the four-row Petal Loop Stitch repeat, with increases at the peaks and decreases at the valleys to build the chevron. You change colors every two rows for that striped finish, carrying the unused color up the side so you’re not weaving in endless ends. A clean single-crochet edge and a simple border finish it off. It’s an intermediate make, but the repeat is rhythmic once you settle into it.

One size, about 12 inches by 12.5 inches, and it softens beautifully with each wash. Make a stack in red and green for Christmas gifting, or go scrappy with your cotton leftovers year-round.
