Wheat Stitch™ Reindeer Amigurumi Crochet Pattern
The Wheat Stitch Crochet Reindeer is a little textured softie who works up in cozy worsted acrylic and holds his shape on a mantel, a shelf, or under the tree. Most amigurumi reindeer are smooth single crochet, but this one is built in the Wheat Stitch from top to bottom, so he has real texture the moment you pick him up.
He comes together with less sewing than you might expect. The body is worked in one piece, and you pause partway to attach the little antlers, snout, and nose, then embroider a couple of little accents up top that nod to the natural markings on a deer’s head, before finishing him off. A quick braided scarf ties around the neck at the end, and printable gift tags are included if you want to tuck him into a gift.
One size, worsted weight, a G hook, and a video tutorial to walk you through every step. He is made to be enjoyed all year, not just in December.
